This 47 unit residential high rise is being built to accomodate residents and their families who are beginning a new life after being homeless or fighting drug addiction. A courtyard is the only useable outdoor space on site and it was designed to offer a place for residents to enjoy the outdoors in a peaceful setting. The courtyard has a terraced patio with a variety of seating options with views to a rain celebration sculpture. The landscape incorporates pacific northwest native plant species that were chosen for their ability to grow in the stormwater planters that were designed to accomodate all stormwater from the buidling rooftop.
